Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp. is hiring former Merrill Lynch & Co. executives Todd Kaplan and Samuel Chapin , who left amid last year’s acquisition of the securities firm, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Bank AG is to assume the longevity risks of nearly 3 billion pounds ($4.6 billion) of pension liabilities from Bayerische Motoren Werke AG’s U.K. plan, the Financial Times reported, citing Martin Bird, head of longevity and risk solutions at Hewitt Associates, which advised the trustees.
